Now Tribhuvan University (TU) is going to make question papers in both English and Nepali languages at the undergraduate level. The meeting of the Standing Committee of the University Academic Council has decided to make the graduation level question papers of all faculties in both English and Nepali languages according to the annual examination system.
According to the University, this system will be implemented compulsorily from the next first year examination and then it will be applied to the second, third and fourth year examinations respectively. Since the university has so far only prepared the question paper in English language, there was a demand to ask in Nepali language as well.
In addition, the results of the students were also affected due to the fact that the students at the lower level did not understand all the questions in English and could not write the answers correctly.
