Decision to release SEE result tomorrow morning


 12 June, Kathmandu. The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will be published by 1 am on Thursday. The National Examination Board meeting was held today to announce the results. But due to lack of some technical preparations, it was decided to announce the results only tomorrow, Controller of Examination (Class 10) Nandlal Paudel informed.

We had prepared to announce the results today. We are doing the same demo even now. After completing all the processes with signatures, it was late at night", Paudel said, "We have called another board meeting tomorrow morning at 7 o'clock. After that, the results are ready to be announced.

5 lakh 4 thousand 414 students from all over the country participated in the SEE examination which was held from 15th Chaitra to 27th Chaitra. The board will announce the results from this year according to the letter grading guidelines, 2078. In which there is a provision to evaluate the theoretical and internal in different ways.

Students should score minimum 35% marks in each subject in theory. A minimum of 26.25 marks should be obtained for the theoretical exam of 75 marks. 40 percent i.e. 10 marks must be scored in the internal exam of 25 marks.

According to the letter grading guidelines, the theoretical and internal marks will be converted into grades. 

However, if the student does not get 35 percent i.e. 26.25 marks in the subject of 75 marks for theory, NG (Non Graded) will be mentioned in the certificate. And they will not be allowed to study in class 11 without taking the grade increase test.

In addition, the board said that students will not get the original certificate if they do not score at least 10 points in internal and 26.25 points in theory. Students will be able to take grade enhancement exams in 2 subjects.

Candidates who did not get minimum 35% marks in more than two subjects and could not get 35% marks even after taking the grade increase exam, will be allowed to take the exam in the next year only in the subject for which they have NG.
