SEE begins today, 514,071 students participating

 


20 March, Kathmandu. The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) is starting today. The exam will start at 8 am.

On the first day, exams for compulsory English and Sanskrit subjects, compulsory Sanskrit composition for Vedavidyangam, and compulsory Arabic language for Madrasa are being held today.

According to the National Examination Board Examination Controller's Office, Class-10, this time 514,071 students are going to appear for the exam.

Last year, 464,785 students participated in the SEE exam of 2080. The number of students in this year's exam has increased by 49,286.

2079 examination centers have been designated for the examination. Arrangements have been made to deploy one assistant center head and one invigilator for every 20 students in a center with up to 150 examinees.

The office has stated that no assistant center head has been appointed in centers with less than 75 examinees in the exam. 

This year's SEE will begin today and will be conducted till Chaitra 19. The exam will be conducted from 8 am to 11 am.

37 people from Japan are taking the SEE exam

According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, this time too, 37 candidates from Japan are participating.

According to Acting Controller of Examinations Bishnu Prasad Gyawali, question papers and answer sheets have been sent from Nepal for students in Japan. The answer sheets will be brought back to Nepal and tested to determine the results.

The children of Nepalis employed abroad are about to take the exam from Japan. Students from schools teaching Nepali curriculum with permission from the Japanese government are about to take the exam.

Nepali courses are taught at Everest International School in Tokyo, Japan. Nepali language, Nepali textbooks, and Nepali culture are taught according to the Nepali curriculum.
